Terms of use
Short, because there is not much to agree about. Opening this page means accepting what follows.
Your pictures
Whatever you open stays yours. No licence to it is claimed, granted or implied by using this page, which would be difficult in any case: the file is never received here, so there is nothing to claim a licence over.
You are responsible for having the right to use the pictures you frame. A photograph somebody else took does not become yours because a decorative edge was added to it.
The frames themselves
The frames are generated geometry rather than artwork licensed from anyone, and you may use the files you save from here for anything at all, personal or commercial, without attribution or payment. What you may not do is take the generated frames and offer them as a frame library of your own.
What is not promised
The page is offered as it stands. It depends on features your browser provides — canvas drawing, image decoding, file downloads — and where a browser implements one of those differently, the result may differ. The colours are sRGB with no profile attached, and no claim is made about how they will reproduce on paper.
Nothing here is guaranteed to be available, and no liability is accepted for a picture that did not save, a frame that came out other than expected, or work lost because a tab closed. Keep the original file; it is never modified by this page, which makes that easy.
Fair use of the page itself
The tool is free and there is no limit on how many pictures you frame. Automated scraping, re-hosting the site, or wrapping it inside another product are not permitted. If the page stops working for you it is a bug, and it is worth reporting rather than working around.
Governing terms
These terms may change without notice, and the version published here is the one that applies. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
